Thanks for checking out my blog.  I am a Meteorologist and Reporter for NBC CONNECTICUT.  I have been forecasting weather for 14 years.  I started in Fort Myers, Florida working for the fox affiliate WFTX-TV Fox 4.  I then worked for WWLP-TV in Springfield Mass.  I currently work for NBC CONNECTICUT as their weekend morning meteorologist. You’ll also find me out reporting live during severe weather coverage or reporting on all things weather.

I started this blog to be able to connect with viewers, because you can’t always get the entire ‘weather message’ out there in a 3 minute weather cast.  I will explain my thoughts on impending storms as simply as possible.  Sometimes a technical post helps to explain (and helps fulfill the inner weather geek that some of us have).

I am also a Professor at Central Connecticut State University, teaching in their fantastic journalism program.  I am teaching a course right now “Web Journalism”.  I promised my students I would begin to (finally) get my blog together.  I can thank my students for keeping me on target.
